This 100-minute cinematic experience is packed with special moments, a completely original storyline, its own soundtrack, and never-before-seen technical effects. Curiosa delivers an adventure you’ll remember for years to come. With this Escape Experience, Epic Escape Waalwijk raises the bar once again – and from 2026, this unforgettable journey will be ready for everyone to enjoy!

The team behind Epic Escape Waalwijk and our new Escape Experience is a big and passionate crew! Youri, Wessel, Milou, Dennis, Noah, Erinn, Lorenzo, Ruben, Koen, Duncan, Eppo, Elise, Ruud, Corné, Roel, Rick, Roy, Maurice… and the list goes on. But when it comes down to it, we all share the same goal: we are the enthusiastic creators, builders, and storytellers of Epic Escape Waalwijk. Our previous rooms, such as Outbreak and our most recent experience, Illusion, have consistently made a big impression — not only through puzzles and technical ingenuity, but also through powerful storytelling and immersive atmosphere. When does Escape Experience Curiosa open?
We plan to open Curiosa in the spring of 2026. Please note: dates are subject to change. Your pre-tickets and any purchased extras will, of course, remain valid.
Can I purchase a combination ticket that includes Illusion?
We bieden geen combinatieticket aan met Illusion. Wel kun je natuurlijk een reguliere reservering maken voor Illusion! Ga hiervoor naar de reserveringspagina van Illusion.

What is the duration of Escape Experience Curiosa?
Curiosa is expected to have an experience time of 100 minutes.
Will Escape Experience Curiosa be scary?
Yes, Curiosa will definitely include scenes that some guests may find scary. We are not aiming for a full-on horror experience, but there will certainly be intense moments, including scenes in complete darkness, designed to create an eerie atmosphere.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of players per group?
Yes. The minimum number of guests is 2, and the maximum is 5.
What will be the minimum age to experience Curiosa?
Curiosa will have a minimum age requirement of 16, due to specific show and puzzle elements that require a certain level of independence and courage.
Is Escape Experience Curiosa accessible for everyone, or does it require a certain level of mobility?
Curiosa is unfortunately not accessible for guests with very limited mobility who require mobility aids such as a wheelchair or crutches. If you are not fully mobile but can stand upright and walk independently, Curiosa is accessible. Please note: the experience lasts 100 minutes, during which you will be unable to sit for a large portion of the time.
Is Escape Experience Curiosa playable in English?
Yes! Curiosa can also be played in English. IMPORTANT NOTE: However, the English version may become available slightly later than the Dutch version. Our aim is to have both versions ready at the time of opening.

No, unfortunately this is not possible.

As soon as your souvenir(s) are ready, we’ll let you know! You can pick them up in advance to enjoy right away, or wait until you experience Curiosa and take them home afterwards as a lasting memory.
This souvenir is not a standard item that every group will receive, and it will never be issued again. It is truly a one-time, exclusive, limited souvenir for those who purchase it during the pre-sale.
